Charles University of Medicine in Prague, Czech Republic

Charles University of Medicine in Prague, being the oldest Medical Faculty in Europe most of its facilities are within historical buildings in the very centre of Prague. The University Hospital is a chains of hospitals and found within the campus, covering all the range of specialties, sub-specialties and research facilities, incorporating the most advanced technologies and knowledge in medicine. 

High level education is being provided by a teaching staff consisting of more than 100 professors, 150 associate professors and more than 700 assistant professors. The instruction is carried out in the form of lectures, laboratory practical’s and seminars. It is a state University and the teaching for foreign students is in the English language and teaching also in German.

The Third Faculty of Medicine offers the following programme in English language:

  • Type of study: Master program – M.D. degree (MUDr. = Medicinae Universae Doctor)
  • Study program: GENERAL MEDICINE
  • Form of study: full – time
  • Standard duration of study: six years

The duration of study for medicine at Charles University is 6 years and tuition is – First faculty – 400.000CZK ≈ 15.150 € and Second faculty – 350.000CZK ≈ 12.500€

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS:

The applicants must successfully pass their admittance multiple-choice tests in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, for which we fully prepare students to ensure their success. We help the students through out the process and get accomodation and start their studies in University.

Charles University also offers 25 Seats without the Entrance Exams on merit basis, but application should be send before the End febuary.

The Palacky University of Medicine in Olomouc, Czech Republic is located in Olomouc, a small student-oriented city of about 110,000 inhabitants. The Faculty of General Medicine and Dentistry has international recognition and a big number of its graduates are established in the  United States,England , Canada, and Scandinavian countries. The facilities are located on the same campus as the University Hospital. The Academic year is divided into two semesters, each followed by an examination period.
