A medical professional with a strong background in orthopaedics, trauma care and pain therapy, Dr. Singh has built his career across India and Germany. His journey gives him a first-hand understanding of what it takes for an international doctor to adapt to a new healthcare system, develop professional language skills and establish a medical career in Europe.
Dr. Singh completed his MBBS at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences and later pursued postgraduate training in Orthopaedics at Topiwala National Medical College. Over the years, he worked in several leading healthcare institutions in India, gaining experience in general medicine, orthopaedics, trauma surgery, endoscopic procedures and reconstructive care.
During his years in orthopaedic practice, Dr. Singh was involved in a wide range of surgical and clinical responsibilities. His experience includes performing more than 500 operations and taking on leadership responsibilities in trauma surgery and endoscopic procedures.
From India to Germany
Dr. Singh’s own professional transition to Germany adds a particularly valuable dimension to his role with Europe Careers.
Moving into the German healthcare system requires more than medical qualifications. Doctors need to understand professional communication, medical terminology, licensing procedures and the working culture of healthcare institutions.
Dr. Singh successfully completed the Medical Fachsprachprüfung at C1 level and subsequently obtained his Berufserlaubnis in Germany. He is currently working as an Assistant Physician in Pain Therapy at Johannesbad Fachklinik Bad Füssing.
Having personally gone through important stages of the professional transition, he understands many of the questions and challenges international doctors face when planning their careers in Europe.
